An Ice Cream Social with TCBY {and Free Party Printables}
When I was a teenager there was a free standing TCBY frozen yogurt shop in a town near where I grew up.
Ever heard of Burleson, Texas? You know, the town Kelly Clarkson is from? Yap, it had a TCBY.
Chocolate swirly frozen yogurt in a waffle cone. I want to say they were $0.99 a pop.
Yummy! I would BEG my mother to drive me there. I loved that place.
Well, TCBY is back. And you can get it in many different varieties at your local Walmart.
Their new line just hit the shelves of our local Neighborhood Walmart yesterday. By the way, this was my first time ever to go to a Neighborhood Walmart. Have you ever been? They are pretty neat- grocery store items only.
We went out and stocked up and had an ice cream party.
My sister and I ran around with little kids in tow gathering supplies for the party.
We waited with bated breath as Walmart stocked their freezer.
You too can find out which local stores near you areย carrying these new TCBY products.
I gave out these fun ice cream social invitations.
You can download these free ice cream social invitations here. Print them on card stock and they make the perfect invites! You can purchase envelopes at your local craft store to mail them.
We made an ice cream social banner.
You can download this free printable as well. ย Just print it on cardstock and cut the triangles out, poke small holes in each corner and thread yarn through them.
We put out toppings and made label tents.
You can download these tents as well. For free.
There is scoop-able yogurt in a variety of flavors. I looks just like ice cream.
This stuff is perfect for cones and waffles bowls.
My kids LOVED the cookie and cream yogurt. All gone.
Did I mention it is only 130 calories per serving?
They also have bars and ice cream sandwiches.
These swirl bars are only 100 calories each! That is a mommy solution.
The kids couldn’t have been happier. They were thrilled and had fun adding a combination of sweet toppings to their cones and bowls.
We dipped the edges of the ice cream sandwiches in colorful sprinkles.
So fun!
You can even cut them in half to double the amount ofย sandwiches.
I had one of these orange bars.
The calorie and fat intake is in line with my Nutrisystem diet.
We topped each ice cream bowl with a fun ice cream topper pick.
These are easy to make. Just print out the sheet of printable toppers on card stock and use a 2 inch circle cutter to cut them out. Hot glue a lollipop stick to the back of each circle and you have a topper!
Finally, send home all of the extra candy with the kids in these super easy treat boxes.
Just print the treat boxes on card stock, cut them out and follow the directions on the page.
