Thanksgiving is getting close. Are you ready?

Early yesterday we were wearing shorts and by afternoon it was chilly. This morning it is down right cold! Hello, cold front.

Here is to another week of easy recipes. If you struggle with meal planning I hope you will check out my ebook How to Meal Plan: A Step by Step Guide for Busy Moms. I will teach you how to meal plan in just 5 simple steps. The book is full of resources with over 40 links to online solutions, 5 free printables, 14 easy recipes included and a section for jumping the hurdles when you have meal planning hiccups. You can preorder your copy here.

Here is what I am cooking for our family this week.

how to meal plan

Chicken Pot Pie– easy one dish meal that is perfect for a Fall or Winter night.   Serve with a dinner salad if you want.

Crockpot Ravioli– so easy. Served with french bread and a steamed veggie.

Crockpot BBQ Chicken– served with crockpot garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli.

Garlic Butter Lime Salmon– served with quinoa, a steamed veggie and dinner rolls.

Crockpot Sunday Chicken Dinner–  we love this. I actually made it last night (Sunday). I like to let the liquid thicken up once the chicken and veggies are done and then I serve it over steamed rice with a dinner roll on the side.

Leftover Buffet– use ’em up!
