Easy Recipes: Chicken Stir Fry in 30 Minutes

Sharing is caring!

Stir fry is a great option when you’re in a pinch and need to get dinner on the table.

It is also a fantastic way to work in lots of veggies.

I am going to show you how to make this quick chicken stir fry using Trader Joe’s Soyaki sauce and Trader Joe’s frozen stir fry veggies.  Obviously, use any brands substitutes for sauce and veggies. Any good teriyaki sauce will do.

This dinner comes together in 30 minutes or less- super fast. (Check out all of our chicken recipes while you’re here that are perfect for busy families.)

easy recipes chicken stir fry

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 chicken breasts, cute into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 garlic clove (or 1 T of the minced jarred stuff- more if you like it)
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Trader Joe’s Soyaki sauce
  • 1 package of Trader Joe’s frozen stir fry veggies
  • 3 cups of steamed rice

Add the olive oil and garlic to a wok that is heating over a med-low heat. I set the dial to 4. (This is a wok that I love.)

This looks like a lot of oil in the wok…. it is not. The oil was pushed up once the chicken was added.

Add in the chicken.

Cook for 5-8 minutes or so- until no longer pink.

Then, you’re going to add 1/2 cup of the sauce. I used Trader Joe’s Soyaki- which is their version of a teriyaki sauce. Amazing!

Use whatever brand you want. Theirs is preservative and dye free. Love that!

Every last bite in the wok was eaten.

This was so easy and Matthew (5) helped me cook. He loves to stir and say Order Up when dinner is done.

He says he is my cooker.

Serve with some fortune cookies or some fresh fruit or a salad on the side.

Enjoy!

    1. There is a tactful way to make suggestions, Emily. In the risk of coming across as argumentative, you do not have to be highly educated to simply follow directions. The post tells you step by step how to create the recipe, which is far from impossible to follow. Enjoy free content that people create for you opposed to picking apart and belittling because it is not spoon fed to you in the way you most prefer.
