5 Things I Love About Family Pizza Night
How often do you have family pizza night?
I have said many times children want dinner around the table together as a family. This is one of the things I love about ordering pizza… family pizza night is a great way to give mom or dad a break in the kitchen and fill hungry, happy bellies while still making memories around the dinner table.
Oh, and my kids love when we order pizza on a crazy homeschool afternoon. You know those days. You’re three hours into school work, you’re diagramming sentences with one child, going over more math problems with two other kiddos and trying to keep the attention of a preschooler who thinks he is ready for high school. There is no end in site to the school day, kids are hungry for lunch and what a treat it would be to have someone deliver pizza for lunch.
I think someones we overlook the luxury we have in the fact that someone can delivery lunch or dinner our door. Don’t you agree?
For years we’ve had Papa John’s on our speed dial, although now I prefer to order online. Makes life even easier! And, they are around the corner from our house.
The 14 year old and I fight over who gets the pepperoncini and their pizza is always delivered hot and I love their quality ingredients.

The more veggies on my slice the better! The 14 year old and my husband like it too. The little kids want simple pepperoni and cheese. - I get a break from cooking an entire meal. Breaks are always welcome.
- Throwing together a delicious salad is super easy while we wait for the pizza to arrive. (Hello spinach, arugula, feta, strawberries and walnuts! My family devours this salad.)
- Papa John’s has NO trans fats, no MSG, no BHA or BHT, no fillers in their meat toppings and no partially hydrogenated oils. Good to know, right?
- I can order online. From my phone or my computer and then we carry on with life until the delivery person arrives. They kind of spoil us, don’t you think?
