  1. CDC recommends not making sun tea. Water never gets to boiling and there’s a risk of bacteria.

      The CDC does warn about sun tea. That’s why I don’t leave mine out and I refrigerate it immediately. Still, if it feels risky to you, maybe a cold brew inside is a better option for you. Andrea

  3. I boil about 4 cups of water, add 1 cup sugar, stir with a whisk, then add 2 flavored tea bags (blueberry or peach) and 6 regular tea bags. Let it steep overnight, then pour in gallon pitcher and fill the rest of the way up with water. For plain, I do the same thing, just no sugar or flavored tea bags. My hot water pot makes the perfect amount to make both kinds.
