Homemade Smores Ice Cream (No Machine Needed)
When I think of summer and ice cream, I think of smores. What about you?
We made this homemade smores ice cream last week and you won’t believe how easy it is to make.
The best part, you don’t even need a machine!

Ready for this ice cream recipe?
Ingredients:
- 16 oz of heavy whipping cream
- 1 (14 oz) can sweet condensed milk
- 1/4 c cocoa powder
- 1 c chocolate syrup
- 6 fun size Hersheys bars, chopped
- 1 c graham crackers, chopped
- 1/2 c miniature marshmallows
- 1 c marshmallow cream
- 1 t vanilla
First, using a mixer (I used my standing mixer) and mix the whipping cream on medium-high until it is thick.
With a spatula add the cocoa powered, condensed milk and syrup and vanilla to gently folding.
Pour the mixture into a Pyrex dish, or something comparable. As long as it is freezer friendly, you’re good.
Drizzle the cup of marshmallow cream over the mixture.
Use a knife to swirl the marshmallow cream into the chocolate lightly.
Add the chopped Hersheys bars, graham cracker pieces and marshmallows evenly over the top of the ice cream.
Cover the dish in foil and pop it in the freezer over night.
Once it is frozen all the way through, use an ice cream scooper and serve it up.
This is perfect in a dish or in a cone.
My boys absolutely loved this!
It will keep covered in foil in the freezer as long as you keep it covered tight. You might even add a layer of clear wrap before the foil if you plan to keep it a while.
What is your favorite homemade ice cream recipe that you make every summer? Do you use a machine or no?
