King Crown Activity for Preschoolers

Sharing is caring!

K is for King, but you already know that!

Letter /Kk/ is another super fun letter of the alphabet. Whether you are a homeschool mom or creating a great learning adventure for your preschooler at home, this k is for king crown craft is super fun and perfect to add to your letter of the week fun! We love that it is thrifty too!

You will need:

To get started you will need to fold your paper plate in half. Begin cutting the plate into fourths. Imagine a pie when you are doing this. If it is easier and you are working on scissor skill practice with your preschooler then you can draw some lines to help with the cutting process. Make sure you leave a good edge so use the ruffled part of the plate as a stopping guide!

Open the plate to make the last two cuts.

Allow your preschooler to decorate the plate once it is cut. Use markers or crayons if you want. Then carefully fold the center triangles of the crown upward.

We added on some sequins and pom poms to make it really stand out! Fun, right!?

Such an easy and fun craft the kids will love making and playing with!

Your kids will love making a king crown! I just know it!
