My husband and I will be celebrating our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple this year. Our anniversary is on March 1. Woohoo! 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!
I have never won anything and I especially would be thrilled to death if me and my husband could win something so sweet and romantic as this, we truly need this for our life right now just to help us to be able to enjoy one another being as we haven’t been able to do anything for each other since we first got together. That is no exaggerating at all. It’s been so difficult for us the past 3yrs due to me falling ill. I was diagnosed with Mixed connective Tissue Disease (auto Immune Disease), and Lupus. As of 2.1/2yrs ago Doug, My husband had to take off work to be able to take care of me and 3 kids two of which are mine from a previous marriage that he loves just as much as if they were his and then our son. He truly is a wonderful husband who deserves everything his big heart desires. here’s a man who gave up everything to take care of a new wife and two of her small children. My smallest was my daughter who was 1yr old, my son being 3yrs old & then Doug’s 1st and only child being a newborn at the time. I fell ill right after my third child was born and I felt as though the whole world was tumbling down around me. I was only 25 and just had a new precious little baby boy with the man I love. I should have been able to enjoy everything that comes when having a baby, but that was truly not the case at all. My body had different plans for me it had decided all on it’s on it would start shutting down little by little. I couldn’t do nothing for my self let alone a new husband and three beautiful children. I was so embarrassed at the fact that here we are newly weds with a new baby and our new little family, and I was having to get him to do everything for me literally. As well as take care of all the house duties and three small children. I honestly don’t know what I would have done if it weren’t for Doug truly being such an amazing , loving, & understanding man. I was only 152lbs when me and Doug Got together, and I put on 38lbs while I was pregnant, and I already had two kids from which I didn’t get any stretch marks and the weight came off quick with no problems at all, but here it had been a year after our son was born and I had gained 104 extra pounds. I felt disgusting, and I honestly thought Doug saw me the same way I was seeing myself. Boy was I wrong, It was quiet the opposite actually he new I was sick before I did. I was not a lazy person by any means I was working 40 hours a week and going to nursing school full time raising 2 kids on my own when I met Doug. I only had 3months left till I graduated when my sickness hit its hardest yet. I was on the deans list every semester, and had a 3.8gpa and had to give up everything I had worked so hard to achieve in my life. Nothing was ever just handed to me I had to work extremely hard to get to where I had got. I did not want to let all that just go down the drain but I just could go anymore my body wouldn’t let me. That’s when Doug had to do the same, and I think GOD everyday for blessing me with him. Most men would have ran at the time of the weight gain but not him and then to give up his business and become a full time stay at home mother and father. he truly deserves some thing special but there is nothing that could ever describe to him how thankful I am for all he has done for me and the kids. That is why we haven’t been able to have anytime for each other, we truly need something to light our fire back. so it would really be incredible to win this.
