Do you see me eagerly raising my hand? kids clothes online I was recently given the opportunity to purchase $30 in clothes for my boys at an online store called CookiesKids.com. This $30 was enough to buy an outfit for each of the little boys, including shipping and tax. I added $1.97 to complete the order.

That is correct, three outfits for less than $32.00!

I went on the hunt for boys sets- where the shirt and shorts come together as a pair. These make great outfits for play.

This is what my shopping cart looked like.

I placed my order and in just a few days it was delivered at my door- so speedy! (Remember, $5.00 shipping.)

Man, I wish other companies could ship and deliver that fast!

Once the items were delivered, I went through the pieces and quickly noticed each set still had the original department store price tags on them.

For Nicky, I picked this Sponge Bob outfit. (He loves Sponge Bob.)

The $7.99 price was about 20% off the department store tag. Not bad.

Luke loves Angry Bird. (So does Nicky, but they also like to wear clothes that are different from one another.)

The original price tag on this outfit was $24.99. As you can see in my shopping cart above, the price I scored this at was less than $10.00.

And Matthew loved his Diego outfit.

This outfit was less than $9.00 and this was about 20-25% off the department store tag.

Wondering how this company got started?

In 1972, a young man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and Summer and Fall, and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. The toys were a success and they put the extra money toward buying children’s clothing for the next season. When that did well, they bought more clothing. The business was on it’s way.

As the brothers Cookie, Marvin and Sonny, who had come in as a third partner in the business, began to open new stores in new locations, inventory expanded. Besides the latest fashions, our customers wanted shoes, toys, backpacks and accessories and we were prepared to deliver.

By the late 1990’s there were six superstores throughout the NYC area, and though they previously had different names, by that time they were all named Cookie’s Kids. Also in the late ’90s came an important addition to Cookie’s Kids’ inventory: school uniforms. It was the steady success in uniform sales that paved the way for founding CookiesKids.com in 2007, which originally sold uniforms and soon after the entire Cookie’s Kids Inventory.

Speaking of school uniforms their pricing on these items seems hard to beat. Polos are as affordable as $4.99! Check out my Google+ story for more awesome finds.

  3. Crystal, The boys look terrific in those design t-shirts. Nice quality, good length and the design/color looks great. I quess I’m repeating myself..but I have shared this with a lot of people including all 400 on my facebook list. I’ve told Mom’s/grandma’s and great grandmas of the prices and quality of the shirts. It’s a good time to buy now for school too. I wish they had a catalogue….keep posting. They would make great gifts…thanks for sharing great stuff.

  4. As a mom raising kids in New York, I am very fond of this store. Another great place check out for back to school uniforms and other adorable kids wear is Planet Young.
