Trader Joe’s Inspired Recipe: Many Clove Garlic Chicken in the Crockpot
Week before last my friend Kim took me to Trader Joe’s. She goes every week and raves about it- she even designates a Trader Joe’s Day.
I went. I think I am falling in love.
Everything I have tried so far I really, really like. (They have mac and cheese with no dye!)
So, my friend Kim gives me this tour of the store. She shows me everything she has purchased and tried. She shows me everything she gets each trip- her routine items.
We came across this sauce called Many Clove Garlic Simmering and Cooking Sauce. Kim said she bought it recently but had not used it yet. She planed to pour it over chicken in the crockpot.
Of course I bought a jar. Of course I tried her awesome idea. Of course my house smelled amazing while it was cooking! Of course it tasted phenomenal!
Here is how you make this super easy dinner. (While you’re here check out all of my easy recipes for busy families! You’ll love them!)
Ingredients:
- 1 (18 oz) jar of Trader Joe’s Many Clove Garlic Sauce
- 4-6 chicken breasts (I tossed mine in frozen)
Toss your chicken breasts into the crockpot. I used my 6 qt oval.
Pour the sauce evenly over the top of the chicken.
Pop the lid on it and cook for 6 hours on high.
Homeschool your kids. Run some errands. When your husband walks in the door he will say, “What smells so good? Is dinner ready?“.
When the chicken was done it automatically popped over to warm because I have a crockpot with a built in timer. Check out my favorites if you’re in the market for one. (Also, check out my 10 Crockpot Cooking Tips so that every dish comes out perfect!)
When I was ready to serve dinner I got brown rice going on the stove. I took some fresh asparagus, also from Trader Joe’s, and popped it in the oven following my Baked Garlic Butter Asparagus recipe.
Let me just say this was an AMAZING dinner.
And what I really liked is that the Trader Joe’s sauce was not really thick. It was more broth-like. The carbohydrates were low and the sugars were low. I love that!
So the next time you’re at Trader Joe’s grab some of this sauce. It is such an easy dinner idea!

This looks like a great recipe, wish we had a Trader Joes in our area. Thank you so much for sharing with Full Plate Thursday and hope you are having a great weekend!
Come Back Soon,

They just built a Trader Joe’s within decent driving distance from us. So far, I have loved everything we’ve tried.
For what it’s worth, I noticed you can buy some of their stuff on Amazon. It is priced significant higher on Amazon, but it might be an option.
I’ve made this a few times and everyone goes back for seconds. Delish!
I can’t believe how easy this was to throw in the crockpot and Poof! Dinner! Thanks for the Trader Joe’s tip, we have one near me but I have never been before.
Anything garlic is always a hit in our house! This was no different! Winner winner chicken dinner!
