Caps for Sale Printables

One of my favorite childhood books to read to my kids over and over again is Caps for Sale. Have you ever read it?

If this is a book you will be reading the first time with your young learner or if you’ve read it over and over again, these book companion worksheets are perfect.

This free printable pack includes three pages:

- a do a dot find the letter page - cotton swab painting page - line tracing printable

Find the Letter

Use do a dot markers or crayons to find the letter M on the page. Activities like these are perfect for fine motor development.

Listen to Caps for Sale

Come along and listen to the story of a man with a pile of caps on his head and how he works to sell them, but decides to take a quick nap under a tree only to wake up to all of his caps missing.

Trace the Lines

Line tracing is great for building fine motor skills, fosters early reading skill development (moving from left to right) and can be used as cutting pages as well if you prefer.

Cotton Swab Painting

Talk about the letter C and caps while your preschooler or kindergartner uses a cotton swab dipped in acrylic or finger paint to fill in the circles/dots.
