Easy 4th of July Cookie Bars

These easy 4th of July cookie bars will feed a crowd for sure. They are soft, chewy, and sweet, and the icing really hits the spot. They are just perfect.

INGREDIENTS:

– butter – cream cheese – sugar – flour – eggs – vanilla extract – baking powder – sprinkles

First, you want to preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Grab a large mixing bowl and combine the butter and cream cheese with an electric mixer set on medium speed. You can use your standing mixer if you want.

Slowly add in the sugar and continue to mix at medium speed.

Add in all of the eggs. Add the vanilla. Keep mixing to combine. Set aside.

In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Turn your mixer back on and slowly over a low to low/medium speed add the flour mixture into the butter and cream cheese mixture.
