This easy dinner idea is perfect for busy families. This fish and pasta entree is done in 30 minutes or less and tastes like you've been cooking it all day!
  • 6 fillets of Treasures from the Sea┬« Parmesan Encrusted Tilapia (I found mine at Sams)
  • 1 (15 oz) can of tomato sauce (I used Hunts)
  • 1 (16 oz) package of spaghetti (I used Sam's brand Daily Chef)
  • ¾ cup, halved cherry tomatoes
  • 2 T garlic, minced
  • 2 T capers
  • 1-2 T olive oil
  • pinch of salt
  • Parmesan cheese, optional for garnish
  • parsley, chopped for garnish
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Start your water boiling for the spaghetti noodles.
  3. Meanwhile, grab the fillets. Use a cookie sheet lined in parchment paper to make cleanup a breeze. Place the fillets on the sheet and pop them in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until headed thoroughly.
  4. In a skillet, get the olive oil going in a skillet over medium heat. Toss in the garlic. Let it cook for a minute.
  5. Add the capers and cherry tomatoes.
  6. Add a pinch or two of salt over the mixture, focusing mostly on the cherry tomatoes.
  7. Pour in the can of tomato sauce.
  8. Once well combine let it cook for about 2-3 minutes and then move it to simmer.
  9. While the sauce is simmering, the water for the spaghetti should be boiling.
  10. Add the noodles to the water. Boil them for 9 minutes.
  11. Once the noodles are done, drain them and pour them evenly onto a platter.
  12. Now your sauce should be perfectly simmered. Evenly pour it down the center of the pasta.
  13. Now your fillets will be done in the oven. Remove them from the cookie sheet and place them over the sauce and noodles.
  14. Top with some freshly grated Parmesan and chopped parsley.
  15. Plate it up!
