Easy Garlic Cheese Bread
Bread
10-12

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf of french bread, cut open lengthwise
  • 4 T butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1 t garlic salt
  • 1 c Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ¼ c Parmesan cheese, shredded
Instructions
  1. Place the bread on a cookie sheet. I like to cover the cookie sheet in parchment paper to make for really easy cleanup.
  2. Take the small cubes of butter and distribute them evenly over the open face French loaf of bread.
  3. Gingerly sprinkle the bread and butter with garlic salt. You really do not want to over do this because the cheese we will add is already salty.
  4. Top the open loaf with the cup of Mozzarella cheese.
  5. Then, top with the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Pop it in an oven set at 350 degrees and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the butter is melted and the cheese is golden.
  7. Top the open loaf with the cup of Mozzarella cheese.
  8. Then, top with the Parmesan cheese.
  9. Pop it in an oven set at 350 degrees and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the butter is melted and the cheese is golden.
  10. Slice it up and serve along with your favorite pasta.
Notes
TIP: If I am cooking a pasta dish, I pop this in the oven when I add the noodles to the boiling water.
