Easy Recipe: Italian Pasta Casserole

Ingredients
  • 1 lb of ground Italian sausage (I used mild)
  • 3 cups uncooked spiral pasta
  • 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (I actually used a mozzarella and Parmesan mix.)
  • garlic (I used about 2 tablespoons of minced garlic)
  • ½ a large onion chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground sausage, onion, garlic and salt and pepper over a medium heat.
  3. While this is cooking, boil enough water in a large saucepan to cook your pasta.
  4. Once the pasta is al dente, drain it.
  5. Combine the cooked Italian sausage and pasta in a square casserole dish.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Add one jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce.
  8. Mix well and thoroughly coat all of the pasta and sausage.
  9. Cover the top of the pasta with cheese.
  10. Pop the casserole dish in the oven for about 20-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Plate it up and serve.
