Red White and Blue Smoothie Recipe

This triple layer 4th of July Smoothie uses blueberries, strawberries and bananas to make three different layers of deliciousness.

INGREDIENTS:

– yogurt – blueberries – milk – strawberries – simple syrup – banana – ice cubes

To combine each layer, first place the liquid into the blender.

Then add protein powder, sweetener, then leafy greens, soft ingredients, fruits or nuts, and lastly, anything that is frozen.

Blend each section, beginning with the whole section, according to the layering directions here. Pour into a mason jar or large glass.

Repeat the layering instructions for both the red and blue sections.

Top each individually over the white section. You may pop it into the freezer between mixing sections to keep it firm.
