Taco Stuffed Avocados

An alternative to traditional tacos is to use avocados instead of taco shells. I am in love! The combination is amazing!

INGREDIENTS:

– Avocados – Beef – Olive oil – Onion – Garlic – Taco seasoning – Cheese – Lettuce – Tomatoes – Bell peppers – Sour cream – TABASCO® sauce

In a skillet, over medium high heat, add your olive oil, onion, and garlic.

Once the onions are translucent, add the ground beef. (You could use ground turkey if you prefer that).

About half way through cooking is when I like to add my taco seasoning. Just sprinkle it evenly over the meat and combine well.

Once the meat is done it is time to cut your avocados.

Slice each avocado in half and open them up. Carefully remove the pit.

Use a large spoon to scoop some of the avocado out to make a but of a well. You can save the removed avocado into a small bowl and mash it up so you can dip with chips.
