Gently mix in the chocolate chips. Remove cherry stems, pit them, chop, and add to the brownie mix, ensuring thorough incorporation.
Pour the brownie mix into a 9x13 baking dish, bake for around 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean, and let it cool completely.
Make the ganache by melting chocolate chips and cream in a double boiler. Pour half over the brownies, and let it cool while keeping the rest warm.
