Crockpot Biscuit and Gravy Casserole

INGREDIENTS:

CASSEROLE 10 Large Eggs 1 Pound Ground Sausage, browned (set aside 1/2 cup) 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese 4 Ounce of diced Green Chilies 1 Can Jumbo Refrigerated Butter Flavor Biscuits

GRAVY 4 Tablespoons Butter 1/4 Cup Flour 2 1/2 Cups Milk 1 Teaspoon Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper 1/4 Teaspoon Seasoned Salt 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Salt 1/4 Teaspoon Onion Powder 1/2 Cup Ground Sausage, browned

FOR THE CASSEROLE:

In a large bowl, whisk together 10 eggs. Pour eggs into a large crockpot.

Whisk 10 eggs in a large bowl, then pour into a large crockpot. Cook and drain ground sausage in a pan.

Add sausage (reserving 1/2 cup for gravy), cheddar cheese, and green chilies to the crockpot, stir. Arrange biscuits on top, cover, and cook on high for 1 1/2 - 2 hours or low for 3 - 4 hours.

In the sausage pan, melt 4 tbsp butter on medium heat. Whisk in 1/4 cup flour, scraping bottom. Cook until light brown, whisking constantly for 1-2 minutes.

FOR THE GRAVY:

Add 1/2 cup of cooked sausage. Stir to combine.  Serve casserole with gravy on top.
