Strawberry Bar Recipe

Enjoy our Strawberry Bar Recipe: a buttery crust, juicy strawberries with citrus zest, topped with golden streusel. A delightful blend of sweet and tart in every bite.

INGREDIENTS:

CRUST – 2 Cups All Purpose Flour – 2 Stick of Butter, softened – 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar – 1/2 Teaspoon Salt

INGREDIENTS:

STRAWBERRY LEMON FILLING – 1 1/2 Cup Strawberries, fresh or frozen – 1/3 Cup Lemon Juice – 2 Tablespoons Flour – 1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest – 2 Cups Sugar – 4 Eggs – Powdered Sugar & Lemon Zest to Garnish, optional

Preheat oven. Line baking dish. Combine butter, flour, powdered sugar, and salt in a bowl.

Press the mixture into your pan for the crust, bake until golden (22-24 mins), then blend strawberries, lemon juice, flour, and sugar in a blender.

Blend in remaining strawberries for chunks. Transfer to bowl, beat in eggs, add lemon zest. Pour over cooled crust.

Bake for 18 minutes, then cover with foil and bake for another 15 minutes. Once baked, let the lemon bars cool completely on a baking rack.

1. Dust with powdered sugar and lemon zest, cut, and serve!
