Weekly Meal Plan 63

How is meal planning going? Are you struggling in areas? Please share your successes, struggles and tips in the comments. I would love to help in any way I can and I would love to learn new tips from you!

Crockpot Lemon Chicken- one of my Facebook readers shared this recipe with me- it has cream in it! Yum. I will let you guys know how it turns out and share the recipe soon.

Asian Salmon- this is meant to be cooked on the grill, but it is still cold (and rainy)  here in Texas. I think I will pop it in the oven instead (in the foil packets). I’ll serve it with steamed rice and steamed California veggies.

Homemade Pizza- dinners like this really are quick and easy and a great way to let the kids help make dinner. I will make one Spicy Garlic Chicken Pizza and let the kids make their own pizza- likely pepperoni and cheese. They really enjoy nights like this.

Crockpot Sticky Chicken- this is really yummy and really easy! Served with salad, dinner rolls and steamed veggies.

30 Clove Garlic Crockpot Chicken- served with mashed potatoes, salad and dinner rolls.

Leftover Buffet- use ‘em up!

crockpot queen this week! it all looks good. one tip I have….keep easy backups..eggs, cereal, toast. And to not beat myself up if I don't make my menu plan.

I'm having trouble keeping up with it all and frankly, I just don't enjoy it. If I stick to my meal planning, then my laundry gets neglected. If I am on top of my laundry, then my kids get neglected. If I spend plenty of time with my kids, then the housecleaning gets neglected. Etc. Etc.

I know, meal planning should make my life easier, but the first week I did it, my kids balked at the homemade meals and only liked the spaghetti I made with canned sauce.

I'm still trying. I know there is an adjustment period that I have to accept!
