I usually procrastinate a bit on my shopping and I really can not stand crowds either. So to avoid the stress I like to shop online and the deals are just as amazing in my pajamas at my computer than they are with people stomping all over my toes and fighting for the last of something!

Great tips, every year I hang our stocking but I always forget to actually put something in them.
Slinky’s do make awesome stocking stuffers. We have done that a few times. We have also done the small cans of playdoh or silly putty. The point is to just have fun and be silly when it comes to the right gift for stockings.
Ha! I LOVE the idea of the bacon-flavored toothpicks. I got my son-in-law a bacon-scented car air freshener as a stocking stuffer this year and those toothpicks would make the perfect pair!
