Weekly Meal Plan 49

Sharing is caring!

Lots of chicken on our menu this week as well as steamed rice as our side. Thank goodness we never get tired of either one at our house- both are staples here.

The first three meals are all cooked in the crockpot- perfect for this time of year and any busy life. The last meal is a yummy traditional Puerto Rican stew. It is absolutely incredible!

Honey Mustard Lime Chicken– crockpot meal with amazing flavors that my children devour! Who could ask for more? Served with steamed broccoli, rice and dinner rolls. (I double the recipe.)

Candy Chicken– my kids have been begging for this for a couple of weeks. When I brought home a liter of lemon lime soda in the grocery bags… they knew what was coming up! Served with steamed rice and mixed veggies.

Italian Chicken– it does not get any easier than this. Frozen chicken breasts in a crockpot, smothered in a jar of spaghetti sauce. Cook for 6-8 hrs and serve over buttered noodles and top with shredded mozzarella cheese. I like to serve with buttered peas as well. (I mix my chicken, noodles and peas all together…  the kids keep it all separate.) I’ve linked to the crockpot ladies version of the recipe so you have a visual.

Puerto Rican Stewed Chicken this is super yummy and very much a traditional Puerto Rican dinner! Spoon the stew over steamed rice ans serve with red kidney beans on the side (canned is a-ok!).

Leftover Buffet– use ’em up!
