Weekly Meal Plan 54

Sharing is caring!

For those who are wondering, the Garlic Lime Tilapia last week was AWESOME! And very easy to prepare.

This week, everyone picked a meal and that is how I  made my meal plan. Try it sometime.

Taco Soup– here is the deal, many of my children (mostly the two oldest) are not huge fans of Taco Soup. And, when they complain the little ones follow right along. On the flip side Lenny and I love Taco Soup and with this cold weather here in Texas it really hits the spot. Someone recently asked me if I ever make things for dinner that the kids do not like but the meals are favorites of mine and how to I handle that? My answer: I will make the kids a box of Hamburger Helper, which they beg for and I can not stand the stuff. So, they get a treat and I get a treat. And honestly, it is not a big deal since both meals are one pot deals and are both ready in like 30 minutes. (And this happens maybe 4 times a year!)

Homemade Pizza– yum! What toppings do you like?

Crockpot Candy Chicken– (Garrett and Anthony’s pick! The only thing in life they will ever agree on!) served with rice, mixed veggies and a salad.

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches– served with chips and fruit. (I’ll cook the meat in the crockpot all day.)

Leftover Buffet– use ’em up!

  1. Mmmm..Candy Chicken. I am so making that next weekend.

I host pizza night at my house every Thursday. Home-made pizzas all the way.

One of my favorite pizza's is:

    Pesto
    Slices of Mozzarella
    Slices of Tomato
    Sprinkle Parmesan over the top.

YUM! My kids even like it.
