This time of year is super fun with all of the Elf on the Shelf ideas going around, but you know what…. I really love when elf does something naughty.
This elf mischievous idea is super funny and perfect for the holiday season!
The more elves you have the funnier it is.
We have six elves at our house but I used three of them for this stunt.

Grab some of this elves up to mischief tape and put it up on you kiddos door.
This is the naughty elf tape I used.
We closed the door ran the naughty elf tape zig zag.
We did use some sticky tape to keep it in place.
We took three of our elves and balanced them on the tape.
My husband also used some Christmas tree garland to allow one of the elves to repel off the door.
Pretty funny, hua?
Look at how cool this is!
Now, if you want to go a step further, take some red and green balloons and tuck them in behind the naughty tape. That way when your kiddos open their bedroom door in the morning the balloons fall out.
You can still tuck the elves in there too. You could even add some candy canes as special treats.
