Real Easy Recipes: Back to School Breakfast Idea
Are you looking for easy breakfast ideas? Sometimes we are guilty of making things so much harder than they need to be.
Maybe you are getting ready for back to school, maybe you live a busy life on the go, or maybe you homeschool and breakfast challenges are the last thing you need. I am going to share with you a simple way to make breakfast easily.
Doesn’t this look delish?
Pre-heat the oven. We’re going to cook bacon and biscuits in there.
I put the frozen breakfast biscuits on a cookie sheet on the middle rack. These are the southern style biscuits we’ve been cooking lately.
On another cookie sheet I put the bacon that can be cooked in the oven. I am in love with the pre-cooked bacon that Schwan’s carries and it cooks so fast. I cook about 10 or so strips on a cookie sheet on the top rack. Biscuits and bacon cook perfectly in the oven together.
While the bacon and biscuits are going, I place a dozen eggs in some water in a pot and put them on to boil.
I have shared with you before my love for having boiled eggs on hand. Any that we do not eat for breakfast in this sitting, we put in a bowl in the fridge for snacking and/or another morning. Boiled eggs are awesome to have on hand!
Wash up some fruit. My kids love strawberries with their breakfast, but anything in season goes!
Everything comes together at the same time.
The bacon and eggs may finish before the biscuits, but by the time the table is set, the biscuits are done.
Put out some milk and juice and you have a well-rounded breakfast.
You can also offer some yogurt for added protein.
Add this to your list of easy breakfast ideas as morning are about to get hectic again with back to school!
