Organic gardening is a great way to enjoy fresh produce without spending very much money. We try to grow the majority of our produce each year in our organic garden. Planting a fall, spring and summer garden allows us to enjoy fresh produce 9-10 months out of the year.
Growing just a few plants can help to cut your food bill. Plus, you have the added benefit of knowing that no chemicals were used on your food, and the added nutrition and flavor of being able to pick your food, and eat it immediately.
There are many delicious foods that you can plant in the fall! Here are a few of my favorite!

There are many ways to garden, so almost everyone can garden. You can grow herbs indoors if you do not have any areas outside.
If you only have a small amount of room outside, or if you do not want to spend much time gardening, you can build a raised bed or container garden. These gardens are elevated above the ground. As a result, they do not get many weeds. Also, you can garden intensively in these gardens, getting a large amount of food per square foot.
