Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef, we use grass-fed
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce, portioned out in 1/2 cup portions
- 1/2 c bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 c shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- spray oil for pan
Put all of the ingredients in a large bowl and combine using your hands.
Spray a casserole dish with non-stick spray.
Make small size meatballs by rolling the meat in your hands. You can use a small melon scooper to get even size portions.
Space them out just a bit so they are not touching.
Use the remaining tomato sauce and add a scoop of sauce over top each meatball.
This recipe will make 24-32 meatballs depending on the size you want.
Pop them in a 350° oven for 20-25 minutes.
When they are done let them cool and then remove and place them in freezer bags for later or use now with pasta or soup or eat them as they are.
These are amazing.
Every bite has gooey cheese in it!

Hello! I cannot wait to try your meatball recipe. But can you please let me know if there is a typo/error in the amount of sauce to use as well as the breadcrumbs? Unless I’m just reading it wrong. Thank you so much!!
I corrected it. Hope it makes sense now. 😉
Thank you! Another question, sorry! Is it really just a 1 ounce can of sauce?
It’s 1 (8oz) can.
