Easy Dinner Ideas for Busy Moms: Sam’s Club to the Rescue #TysonBreakfast
Tyson Foods has a new product on the market and Sam’s Club is one of the carriers.
Lenny and I hit the streets on a mission. To make this new product, Tyson Breakfast Bread Bowls, an easy dinner idea for our busy family.
Yes, breakfast for dinner.
Off to Sam’s we went.
By the way, have you noticed gas prices? That seems to be all I hear about on the news. How do our prices in the DFW area compare to gas prices in your neck of the woods?
Let me also say this. When the twins were little, one thing I loved about shopping at Sam’s was their double-seater shopping carts.
These are AMAZING when you have two little ones. They are not bulky and plastic like the traditional double-seater shopping carts you see at other stores.
Other shopping stores, please take note. These shopping carts are life savers for busy moms!
Down right brilliant!
Sam’s has tons of fresh produce that is perfect to pair with these bread bowls to make a complete and balanced breakfast…. for dinner.
Blackberries, oranges, apples, grapes, bananas, strawberries, you name it. All fresh and tasty!
We even had fun trying out some of the samples at the little stations.
I am a sucker. There was a nifty mini pancake sample and I bought a case. They went perfectly with our breakfast for dinner theme.
Matthew was with us while all the other kids were at school or preschool.
He prefers the back of the shopping cart.
And, he takes his shoes and socks off every time.
Go figure.
Look at this. Two of my favorite guys.
Matthew wearing his rain boots and overalls. Those overalls were worn by my almost 13 year old when he was little. I keep everything.
Here is a sneak peek of our breakfast for dinner.
These bread bowls from Tyson make the perfect mommy solution!

I’m glad you tried them and blogged about it. I wanted to get some last trip, but being a family of three, the package was too big to try without a recomendation from someone else. I’ll go get some tomorrow. And as for the the gasoline that we make here in Alaska and ship to y’all in the big state of Texas ;), I paid $4.14 a gallon this morning. It cost me $66.00 to fill my minivan.
Sandy- the bread bowls were very tasty. Inside the big box, they are packaged in groups of two, so you do not have to serve them all at one time.
Also, leftovers store easily in their little mini packages in the freezer. My next post will show more of the bread bowls.
Are gas prices always more there…. and you’re making it there? Insane!
Visiting from over at SusieQ’s … we love having breakfast for dinner over here! we’ll have to do that again soon.
We are dying here (in Michigan) with high gas prices too! $3.99 a gallon – ugh. I can’t wait to see the Breakfast For Dinner you cook up!
