And The Season Begins…

This season all four of the big boys are playing baseball. This is something Nick and Luke have waited so long for as they have sat through practices and games of their bigger brothers just waiting to be old enough.

And the time has come. They are on the same team- in this together, as always.

Nicky is just so cool.

He is the smallest guy on the team, and everyone seems to notice. Look at how tiny he is, they say.

The coach took Nicky under his wing, keeping him close.

Nick is in it to win it and analyzing the field.

Finding his purpose not realizing just how adorable he is.

Luke holds that bat like he was born with it in his hand.

Very confident.

Natural.

He could play this game from sun up ’til sun down.

Running in.

Can’t wait to give them high five!

Next we are off to Anthony’s game.

Baseball comes easy to him.

Very strong young man.

Waiting for the right pitch is something that tries his patience.

But he waits….

Stealing bases is his specialty.  

Cracks me up.

Soon it is Garrett’s game. It was a day full of on the go.

We have searched since he was little bitty for his sport.

Last year he found it…. in baseball.

He caught it.

Got the player on the other team out.

Made me proud- he was such a kind sport about it.  

The next 6-8 weeks will be full of practices, games and summer sun.

Bases and gloves.

Sun screen and bottles of water.

Memories for sure.
