Weekly Meal Plan 16

Sharing is caring!

Hungry?

Me, too!

And so are my kids.

Like, all the time.

7:00 am, noon, 5:00 pm, even 2:30 in the morning, someone here at this ol‘ house is hungry.

I am serious!

(At 2:30 in the morning it is usually baby Matthew and Lenny eating. Lenny has this thing for a bowl of cereal in the middle of the night. It used to drive me absolutely crazy. Now, I’ve accepted it. Just do NOT eat it in bed. Cause crunching in the same silent room as me is something that will wake me from a dead sleep and cause me to go completely postal on you. Just consider this your warning!)

Here is our meal plan for the week.

Breakfast choices:

Thomas’ Mini Brown Sugar Cinnamon Bagels and Cream Cheese- enough for 2 mornings.
Nutella and Toast (favorite of the big kids!)
Cinnamon French Toast Sticks– these are great because they bake quickly and they are already sweet, so no need for syrup! There are enough for 2 mornings.

Lunches:

Garrett and Anthony pack a lunch and it is the same ol‘ same ol‘:
Nutella and Peanut Butter sandwiches
BBQ chips
Juice Box
Apple

Lunch for the twins and me:
Personal Size Pizzas (leftover from last years Little Caesars fundraiser)
Hot dogs and chips
Corny dogs and oven baked fries
Bean and cheese nachos baked in the oven

Afternoon snack:

Taco dip and tortilla chips
cereal or granola bars
Crackers and cheese
Pizza bites (big kids really love these and they are starving after school)

Dinners:

Crockpot Candy Chicken (carry over from last week… the kids were so very sad cause candy chicken is one of their favorites!). Served with steamed rice and buttered broccoli.

Kraft Rigatoni and Italian Sausage– a few weeks ago while grocery shopping, one of the twins tossed in a box of Rigatoni while Mommy and Daddy were distracted. The box of pasta ended up making it all the way home with us…. so, we had to find a recipe for them. Why not go to the Kraft website and enter 3 ingredients… and there you have it. Looks yummy! I am improvising a bit and using ground Italian sausage instead of turkey sausage links…. it sounds really good and looks so very easy. We will have garlic bread as well.

Crockpot Taco Chicken– This is using a Homemade Gourmet seasoning. But you could improvise, and just use a packet of taco seasoning and add some garlic and onion (instead of the homemade gourmet seasoning) as well as the other ingredients listed. We will have rice on the side.

Leftover Buffet x2- doing leftovers or whatever you can find in the fridge to eat two nights this week. Because I said so!
