Weekly Meal Plan 19

Sharing is caring!

Moving right along in the meal planning world. Like my new art photos below?

Pioneer Woman Breakfast Burritos– these are amazing. They went over very well last week and one batch makes a lot of burritos. You make a bunch, wrap them in foil and store them in the fridge. Then, you can just warm them up as you go. Don’t forget to make the Breakfast Potatoes to go with them. These burritos will last us at least two days for breakfast (I make small soft taco size).

Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Toast– sometimes they like to put cream cheese on top or just butter. A piece of fruit and a glass of orange juice and they are good to go. We will eat this for two mornings as well.

Nutella and Toast- totally the default breakfast!

Honey Nut Cheerios or Instant Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal are options as well if we should run out of any of the above or just as extra choices if they want to switch things up a bit.

Garrett and Anthony take their lunch to school:

Turkey and mustard on a hoagie (I have some extras hoagies left from this week’s dinner- see below. They think it is so cool to eat a sandwich in a hoagie!) or their traditional Nutella and peanut butter sandwich.

BBQ chips or pretzels

Apple or banana

bottled water with those little packets for flavoring

The twins and I will eat:

Mac and Cheese

Pepperoni and cheese slices

Peanut butter and jelly with Cheetos!

Corny dogs

We have strawberries, bananas, apples, sliced cantaloupe and sliced watermelon for fruit choices.

**I also have supplies on hand to make a yummy salad for myself that will likely last me most of the week for the days they eat corny dogs and pepperoni… we are totally on different food channels, these twins and I. Me and these twins? Us? We? Never mind.

By the time we’ve completed the 3:00 pm school rush pickup, all the kids, especially the two big boys, are starving! Here is what we will snack on this week:
HG Taco Dip– Have you noticed I am just as compulsive about this stuff as my big boys are about Nutella? I could eat it every day! We eat it with tortilla chips.

Multigrain Wheat Thins (I forgot how absolutely addicting these things are!) and string cheese.

Pizza Rolls– company favorite afternoon snack!

Granola bars and yogurt- Luke and I like to dip our granola bar in the yogurt and scoop.

Baked tator tots with sliced cheddar cheese on top.

Celery and peanut butter

Two things this week.
1) Everything is crockpot!

2) I am cooking all Homemade Gourmet pre-assembled meals in my freezer at dinner time. As I’ve shared before, once a month my HG lady, as I like to call her, offers a menu. You pick 7 -10 meals and go to her house. She provides all the needed ingredients, including the HG seasonings, and you pre-assemble the meals. You store it in a ziplock bag and bring it home and put it in your freezer. Most of the meals are totally crockpotable. Makes my life heaven.

Even better, all the recipes are on the HG website…. so, I can share the recipes with you guys and you can make them at home and use your HG seasonings, or improvise with seasonings you can find at the store. Yum!

Crockpot Philly Cheesesteaks – I will cook the meat all day in the crockpot and then load it up on a hoagie bun topped with a slice of mozzarella cheese. Tator tots on the side (baked in the oven) and baked home style beans (totally from a can! my kids love them!)

Crockpot Queso Chicken– I will cook the meat in the crockpot and shred it once done and serve in taco shells with all the lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese fixings. Puerto Rican rice and refried beans on the side. Yum! Any leftover chicken I will save and freeze for nachos for a future lunch or dinner.

Crockpot Beef and Cornbread– I am really excited to try this one. I will make oven baked potatoes, using this seasoning packet I found at the store, and a salad.

Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken– served over fettuccine noodles, garlic french bread and salad on the side.

Leftover Buffet– or make your own sandwich, or bowl of cereal, or whatever you can find, cause Momma called in sick today!

By the way, do you call it a crockpot or a slow cooker?

Crockpot is the brand and Slow Cooking is the method, but what do you call it?

I always call it a crockpot!
