Amazing Haunted House in DFW Area (with a Cause) #ChamberofChillz
I am NOT a fan of haunted houses. If you love to see a grown woman freak out, go through a haunted house with me. I say things outload that I shouldn’t.
A few weeks ago I guaranteed my kids, my husband, my friend Kim and her kids that there was no way they were getting me in a haunted house. Ever. Never ever.
I went through Fright Fest at Six Flags in October of 1993 and wet my pants. For real! I was 15 years old and cannot stand it when scary people get in my face.
Well, my friend Kim’s kids are volunteering at a local haunted house in Keller which is here in the DFW area. The haunted house supports an amazing cause. The elementary-age daughter of the family running this event is on a mission. She wants to provide wheelchair swings for the students at her local school. How precious is that?
Of course our 12 year old was eager to volunteer at the haunted house as well. He worked it last night with his friends and he is working it again tonight. For the last six or seven years our family and Kim’s family have all trick or treated together. This year her two boys and Anthony will not be with us because they are so excited to be a part of this volunteer project.
If you are looking for an awesome haunted house here in the DFW area, this one in Keller is one to add to your list. They WILL be open tonight for Halloween. They will also be open this Friday and Saturday.
Don’t be mislead, just because kids are working this does not mean it is not scary. I was TERRIFIED going through it last night.
You will have an absolute blast and it will be for a good cause. Add it to your frightening night tonight!
