Weekly Meal Plan 26

Sharing is caring!

Here is what my family is eating this week.

After Lenny’s carbohydrate-induced-grocery-trip last week, there are lots of breakfast food items lingering in the kitchen. So, we’ve gotta use it up.

Pancake and Sausage on a Stick (a box big enough to last all week)

Blueberry Bagels and Cream Cheese

English Muffins w/Egg and Cheese

Maple and Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal

Big boys packed lunches are:

Peanut Butter and Nutella Sandwiches

chips

bottled water (with flavor packet to add)

Yogurt Tubes (I freeze them and they are nice, cold, ice cream-like treats!) or apple

Lunch for those of us at home:

Chicken and Bean Nachos (leftover shredded chicken and a can of pinto beans over chips. Top with cheese and bake. Yum!)

Corny dogs

Mac and Cheese

Turkey or PBJ Sandwiches

We have yogurt, apple sauce, apples and celery w/peanut butter as sides as well.

After school time is a hungry time at our house…

Homemade Gourmet Taco Dip and chips

French bread with cheese, pizza sauce and pepperoni

Popcorn on the stove

Hot Pockets

Wheat Thins and Sliced Cheese

Sauteed Onions and Chicken Breasts– with steamed, buttered, mixed veggies (frozen) and salad.

Crystal’s Stir Fry Bowls– we went to a local Mongolian Grill this weekend… I want more. I love it! So, I am making my own. Diced chicken breasts, snap peas, broccoli, zucchini, bell pepper, TSO stir fry sauce (Target brand), Chinese Five Spice and steamed rice all stir fried on the stove. I am totally winging it, but can’t wait.

Crockpot Beef Fajitas– (carry over from last week) I’ll cook the fajita meat in the crockpot and a pot of Puerto Rican rice on the stove. I’ll make a side salad as well.

Crockpot Candy Chicken– my kids can not get enough of this. We love it! Served with steamed rice and steamed buttered broccoli (from the freezer).

Leftover Buffet– use ’em up!

Ooo, that "candy chicken" looks like the answer to my prayers since The Hub proclaimed "anything but more chicken" last night when I asked what we should make for dinner! YIKES!

Great looking menu, great blog – stopping by from Menu Plan Monday at Orgjunkie!

  2. Keri, the chicken is amazing! Let me know if your hubby likes it. I have a feeling it will hands down be a hit!
