The Easiest Kids Birthday Party I’ve Ever Done

Sharing is caring!

I have been doing birthday parties for my kids for 17 years. Yes! I have a child that old. (Hey, I will be 40 this year!)

There was a time in my life when I was kind of known as the kid birthday party mom. I spent months planning, spending, creating.

I loved it, but I was always left exhausted. Literally.

That said, each of our children have had a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese’s planned by the local event management services and these parties were always the easiest on mom!

I really did not think it could ever get any easier, but boy was I wrong.

My sweet baby Matthew is turning eight! Where does the time go?

Our house is endless busy. There is so little time right now for me to plan anything…. I mean grocery shopping has even become hard.

I am here to tell you Chuck E Cheese’s has got it going on!

You can plan an entire birthday party for your little one online!

Even order your food, etc. Done. Before you arrive.

(The cake, the food, the favors, the extras, EVERYTHING! Moms, this is such a time saver!)

They have some super fun new themes. We chose Party Like a Rock Star.

We chose the package where each child receives a 2-hour playing card. This means from the first game card swipe, they have 2 hours to play their heart out.

Did you know you can even do a private birthday party before Chuck E Cheese’s opens to the public each day and have the place to yourself? Winning!

Our kids, played and played and played.

We challenged them to a game of our childhood favorite Ski Ball!!

Your party package comes with a host and time with Chuck E himself!

Every child’s eyes light up!

My sweet Matthew! Just a baby not too long ago.

And that cake… yes! I even had them do the cake. Let go my sweet mom friends! This was literally the most stress-free party you could throw!

My kids loved the cake. Colorful and delicious! Plenty for everyone!

Ah, tickets galore for the birthday boy!

This is what memories are made of!

The teenager was at work…. he was super sad he missed this.

I am serious!

Here is a quick look at those party favor bags. My boys were impressed with them and are still playing with the trinkets that came in there.

A can I just say the ticket muncher is just as fun as a game?

Matthew always looks forward to this!

We ended up with 1700 tickets!

Nick and Luke picked some small things for themselves and then surprised Matthew with a big ticket car zooming race toy! Love their servant hearts!

With this many kids I would be lying if I told you I never worry about safety when we go places. Especially with Luke Henry who is the fastest 2 year old you will ever meet.

These security folks at Chuck E Cheese’s take their responsibility very serious! This is something any mom can appreciate.

And the party was a wrap! We all went home and crashed!

If you are looking for a birthday party your kids will remember for years and won’t stress mom out, book everything at Chuck E Cheese’s.

  1. Oh I so remember parties at Chuck E Cheese’s when my daughters were younger. They loved it, not sure I would say the same, but it was easy that’s for sure. Glad to hear that security is good now as that would be a concern these days as the kids just race around the place its impossible to keep your eyes on them all the time.

  2. Your photos look like so much fun. I raised two daughters, and we never had parities like this. What a great idea to go somewhere where the kids have a blast and the parents don’t have to do all the work. I love this idea.

  3. My little brother has had 2 birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese and they are definitely the parties where he has had the most fun…and they’ve been the easiest to plan! It’s great that they offer so many options to help customize the party for each kid and take all of the stress away!

  4. This is really helpful information We have been considering a birthday party at Chuck e cheese for my son but I wasnt sure about the process or what to expect. Maybe next year we will just plan it this way. Looks fun and super easy for the parents!

  5. My kids LOVE Chuck E Cheese! What a great idea to have a birthday party there! And it looks so easy! Thanks for the suggestion!

  6. I used to spend months and lots of cash to create the epic birthday parties. And like you, end up exhausted when it was all said and done. It has taken me awhile, but I’m learning that giivng up that control can sometimes be a good thing and I can enjoy things a lot more. Who can compete with Chuck E Cheese?!

  7. One of my kids was invited to a party at Chuck E Cheese recently and I was so surprised at how much fun it was. I remember parties there being kind of lame and the food sub-par, but they have really stepped up their game! I may have to convince my twins this is where their party needs to be this year. 🙂

  8. It looks like a blast. I love Chuck E Cheese. It looks like so much fun. Is the pizza warm when you get there? If not I guess they could reheat it and send the kids to play games.

  9. Oh, when I went to the US, I LOVED Chuck E Cheese, so I bet the kids loved this affair too! It’s great what you’ve done too — I think what just matters is that every important person in their life is there and are having fun. No need for anything too grand.

  10. I must confess I have never ever visited a Chuck-E-Cheese, there are literally none near me. Not to mention I am not a parent, but this does look like it is quite a time saver in so many ways!
