San Antonio Fire Department
The San Antonio Fire Department made an appearance at the 4th of July Parade here in my in-laws neighborhood.
My boys love fire trucks.
One by one the boys climbed into the fire truck.
This must be one of the most macho feelings you can have at the age of 11 years old.
This is like a dream come true for a little boy.
Look, Mom. I can drive!
Matthew was a little shocked he could sit in the truck.
The only time in history this child was beside himself.
No Spiderman posing here.
The firemen were patient and receiving of all the parade kids.
Everyone who wanted a turn to sit in the truck, was given a turn.

Wow, what a great time! I remember giving those tours to such young and excited kids. At that age, it’s just just so fun to see their excitement and thrill of being in a fire truck. It doesn’t go away either when you get to do it for a living either 🙂 I’m sure the kids will remember this for a long time.
