Two

Sharing is caring!

Two years ago this little guy came screaming into the world. The moment I heard his curdling cry I knew I would love him forever-  adorably perfect summed him up.

I would re-live this day 100 times if I could.

Before we knew it, my little Momma’s Boy was turning one.   When you know this is your last baby,  every milestone and birthday is bittersweet.

And now my baby turns two- where does the time go?

Daddy and I spent the day with him yesterday while all the children were at school/pre-school. We took him shopping for a new pair of shoes.  Velcro Converse- who knew?

And he loves them.

We went to dinner as a family last night and Matthew had his first big boy chocolate shake.

Down to the very last drop. Waste not, want not.

We sang happy birthday, and while he is this super charming and social little boy, all the attention and singing embarrassed him and made him cry.

No worries, he devoured every bite of that cupcake.

Happy 2nd Birthday {baby} Matthew!

May you make us as proud as these four strapping {silly} lads!  A bright future you have indeed.

Awww Happy Birthday!! 🙂 My little guy turns 3 in October and I’m still trying to figure out where the last few years have gone. They grow up way too fast.

  5. I think all birthdays can be bittersweet! My kids are 12 1/2 and my baby just turned 11 last week. To see both of them growing up is rewarding but leaves me longing to hold them when they were little babies, toddlers, aaahhhh the memories.
