How often do you and your hubs get the chance to go on a date night? For the last few years my husband and I have tried really hard to go on a date night together at least once a month.
When I heard that BJ’s Restaurants wanted me to head out and try their local restaurant, I was 100% in. You know what? Because we are huge fans of their place! We have date nights there a lot. We also love to take friends and family there from time to time when we get together. I can tell you just about everything on their menu. (Pizza, awesome. Asian Chicken Salad, amazing. Pizookie dessert, to die for!)

My husband and I like different things on our pizzas- so we get them to do the pizza half and half. I will show you that in just a bit. All we had to agree on was the crust. I love the thick crust, but we settled on a thinner crust. Both are delish!
(Not only are their restaurants beautiful and family friendly, but they are well-known for their in-house brewery as well. This always impresses me.)
Part of the deal includes soup or salad for each person. I generally get the Ceasar side salad. I have also had the wedge salad and it is very tasty.
There is a side salad on the menu that has feta and watermelon. I am a huge fan on feta, but for some reason I had never tried this salad. My husband ordered one and I had a few bites. Amazing! Purple onion, watermelon and feta cheese together are pretty awesome. I am totally going to try and duplicate this at home.
For the pizza I love, love, love their Mediterranean pizza. Anyone who has ever been to BJ’s with me knows this is what I order. I love that you can get any of their pizzas in any size from personal to a large. Black olives, fire roasted tomatoes, peperoncini, feta, feta and more feta over a pesto sauce. This is making me hungry!
My husband is not a fan of the Mediterranean pizza. He loves the meaty pizzas. No problem. As you can see they loaded us up with a pizza that was my half and his half. No extra cost, no worries.
And as if dinner could not get any better, here is the best part.
This deal comes with one of BJ’s Famous Pizookie desserts. Once you have one of these dessert, any other restaurant will never compare. There are a variety of Pizookie combinations, but this one is my favorite.
The Triple Chocolate Pizookie.
It is a scoop of chocolate ice cream melting over a fresh out of the oven chocolate cakey, almost brownie like, concoction with a square of Ghirardelli chocolate.
Share it with your man- if you can. Then get him to roll you to the car because you will be so full you can hardly walk.

We have actually purchased one of these and had spoons for each of our kids and there is enough dessert here for everyone to get 2 or so hefty scoops and satisfy your sweet tooth 100%!

Mandy- until this last visit I had never noticed the feta and watermelon salad on the menu. I have no idea how we overlooked it. Thank goodness the waitress told us about it because now it will be a favorite!
