Can Your Kids Draw Themselves Diary of a Wimpy Kid Style #Snacks4WimpyKid

Are your kids Diary of a Wimpy Kid fans?

Is seeing the new movie Dog Days on your to-do-list? We own the first movie and had exclusive tickets to see Rodrick Rules before it even opened at movie locations.

As a matter of fact, we had the pleasure of interviewing the author and two leading characters a while back. Talk about fun!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid  is such a popular conversation at our house, even my three year old walks around lifting his shirt saying, It has a Hair in It.

And as we prepare for Dog Days to arrive, I challenged my kids. Can you draw yourselves Diary of a Wimpy Kid (DOAWK) style?

And what is the perfect snack to go along with our artwork challenge?

Fruit cups!

We made a trip to Walmart to gather a variety of  Del Monte fruit cups. My kids love these as a special treat!

While we were at Walmart we took a peek at the movie section. There were very few Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Rodrick Rules movies left of the shelf.

Must be popular summer movies kids are watching at home.

Our art challenge began and we broke out our autographed book.

Anthony decided it would be fun to draw himself DOAWK style playing football.

And Nick pretended he was the kid on the cover of the book.

As the boys drew their pictures, there were lots of crunched up paper piles.

Luke drew himself saying I love fruit cups. ha

With all silliness aside, Del Monte fruit snacks are the perfect mommy solution for afternoon snacks, lunch box treats, on the go treats (my kids can literally peel the lid and drink these things!).

How do your kids enjoy Del Monte fruit cups? And are your kids up for the challenge to draw themselves DOAWK style? Join the contest over on Del Monte’s Facebook page.
