Childrens Books About Birds (Fiction and Non Fiction)
A few weeks ago a family from church gave us a bird nest. A real bird nest.
This nest belonged to a Robin bird and her babies last summer. We are told this bird protected her babies and nest like it was nobody’s business.
Since we homeschool she asked if we would be interested in this bird nest that is now abandoned. Of course!! What an awesome unit study.
She brought it to church in a shoe box and the rest is history. Or science…
I immediately created a Pinterst board for our bird unit study and made a list of books to check out at the library. (Make sure you check out all of our lists of books children must read!)
Here is our collection of reading for our unit study. I have broken the list down into fiction and non-fiction. Click through to read more about each author and book. You too can take this list to the library or order over on Amazon.
