Free Meal Planning Printable {with a Fun, Spring Theme!}

Sharing is caring!

Meal planning has seriously changed my life. I feel like I tell people that all the time, but it’s SO true – it’s made such a difference in our lives in so many ways – and I want everyone to know how easy it can be to meal plan because I know it can make your life easier, too.

Free Spring Meal Planning PrintableI used to think I was too busy to sit down and plan out my meals, but it turns out the opposite was true – I’m too busy to NOT meal plan.

Here are a few reasons why I believe you should try meal planning (if you don’t already):

  1. You will save time. You are not too busy to meal plan, although I have people tell me that all the time (and I once believed it about myself, too). Once you’ve figured out a system that works for you, you’ll find it takes only a few minutes each week. All that time you would have spent running to the grocery story to pick up missing ingredients or digging around in your pantry looking for dinner ideas will suddenly be free for other things (like spending time with your kiddos!).
  2. You will save money. So much money, you guys. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve gone to the store without a real plan. We’d load up the cart with random food that looked good while we were shopping, tons of produce that we’d never end up actually eating, and all sorts of other random ingredients. Shopping with a plan will keep you on track. Last year, I gave one of my Meal Planners to my brother and his family for Christmas. After their first week of using it, they called to tell me that their grocery bill was more than $50 less than what it normally was – all because they shopped with a plan. And that doesn’t include how much they saved by eating out less each week, too!
  3. Eating healthy will be easier. If you’re eating all of your meals at home, you’ll probably be eating smaller portion sizes. You won’t be tempted by all the fatty, fried foods at restaurants. You might even find yourself like me, searching the internet for easy, healthy recipes (like these healthy one-pot dinners).
