Are Your Kids Active?

Sharing is caring!

As we hit mid July head on, I am sure kids in each of our households are being active and enjoying summer!

I know there are heat conditions that may limit some of our time outside, but swimming, bike riding, going to the park, taking trips, etc., are all amazing things that many families are doing right now.

How are you spending your summer making memories? Is your summer full of firsts?

Are Your Kids Active

First bike rides, first baseball games, first vacations are all great ways to make memories.

We just took our first trip for the summer to San Antonio last week. This is where my in-laws live and they love, love, love visiting Grandma and Grandpa.

My in-laws live in a neighborhood with a community pool, and let me tell ya, my boys convince Grandpa to take them swimming every day.

My boys become little fish and could swim all day long. They are super active little guys.

Sometimes we even pack our bikes when we travel so that our boys can stay active on our trips.

We all know with active kids typically comes an accident here or there.

Did you know that 39% of all outdoor, recreation-related injuries happen during “summer-type” activities? I had no idea it was that high!

On your trip to the beach, your visit out of town or your outdoor camping trip, how do you handle cuts and scrapes?

Did you know that wounds heal best when they are cleaned properly?

Here is my boys having a blast during our first trip this summer to see Grandma and Grandpa in San Antonio.

They rode in the neighborhood Independence Day parade.
