When Learning and Fun Collide

As a homeschool mom of six boys, I cannot tell you how giddy I get when I find a toy that encourages and fosters ingenuity. That is exactly what we have found with BEYBLADE BURST SWITCHSTRIKE Tops. With BEYBLADE BURST your kids can create their own BEYBLADE BURST SWITCHSTRIKE top that is comprised of three parts. There is the Energy Layer, the two-part Forge Disc and the Performance Tip. Your kiddos will quickly observe that the Energy Layer affects how the top engages with an opponent when they collide in battle. The Forge Disc alters the center of gravity and weight of the top. This gives different reactions in battle. Smart, right? And the Performance Tip…. it controls the movement patterns. Will the top spin in one place or roam around the BEYBLADE BURST BEYSTADIUM? It is all in the tip. After playing for just a few minutes, your children will quickly see how each of these layers affect the outcome of their game. They are super easy to build and customize. 
My boys quickly figured out that their personal strengths in battle seemed to come from the top they used. So, what kind of BEYBLADE BURST tops are there?
- Attack Types are designed to move quickly around the BEYBLADE BURST BEYSTADIUM and they collide with power.
- Stamina Types are designed to maintain their spin in battle. They are great at outshining a Defense Type.
- Defense Types are designed to ward off attacks and maintain stationary, station positions while battling.
- Balance Types combine the qualities of Attack, Stamina and Defense types and include design elements of all three.
So, how do you battle? Grab your BEYBLADE BURST BEYSTADIUM (which is a Hasbro Product) and put it on a flat surface. We like to do it outside on the grass or on the living room floor. Don’t put it on an elevated surface. Load your BEYBLADE BURST top onto your BEYBLADE BURST launcher. 3,2,1 and both opponents pull the ripcords on their launcher holding it over the BEYSTADIUM. You are forged into battle! 
Watch them spin, spin, spin. Who will attack? The first player to get to 3 points wins. 
How do you get points? You get 1 point if you knock your opponent’s BEYBLADE BURST top into one of the corner pockets. You get 1 point if your opponent’s BEYBLADE BURST top stops spinning before yours. You get 2 points if your opponent’s BEYBLADE BURST top bursts in battle. That is a BURST FINISH! Watch your kids light up as they battle each other out!
Have your own championship and see who wins!! Did you know there is a BEYBLADE BURST WORLD TOUR which brings together BEYBLADE BURST masters ages 8-13 for epic head-to-head competitions in various regions across the globe? The winners of the National Championships will go on to represent their countries at the 2018 BEYBLADE BURST World Championship which will be held at Kidexpo in Paris on November 3rd. And guess what else our boys are excited about? There is a new BEYBLADE BURST EVOLUTION airing on Disney XD every Saturday at 8:30 AM with reruns throughout the week at 3:30 PM! The main character Valt and his friends battle against each other to become the best Bladers in the world! It’s a great show to watch because it can teach your child about the importance of hard work, determination and competition.
