Blogger Appreciation Day- June 2010

It is that time again…. time to look at where some of my traffic came from for the month of June.

You have direct traffic. This means people arrive at your site my typing your ‘url’ into their browser.

Then there is referred traffic. This mean people arrive at your site by means of another site. Maybe they noticed a comment you left on another site and wanted to learn more about you so they found their way to your site via that comment. Maybe they read your guest post or tip on someones site and then clicked the link to learn about and they arrived at your site that way. Maybe you participate in a weekly link-up (also known as me-me in the blogging world) and they found you via this route. You get the idea….

Below is a list of the sites that sent visitors my way for the month of June.

We are That Family– sent 441 visitors to my site! Once a week I link up a current tip I have shared on my blog and share it on her site. The watermelon tip, my diaper bag tip, fun party favor idea, etc.

Org Junkie– sent 278 visitors to my site. Every Monday I link up on her site and share my weekly meal plan. It’s a great site for meal plan ideas, recipes and inspiration!

Tip Junkie– sent 150 visitors to my site. When you have a tip you want to share, you can submit it on her site and she then shares it with her readers. I recently shared lots of birthday party ideas with her and she featured them on her site along with tons of other birthday party ideas from other creative women!

Eat at Home– sent me 72 visitors. I love her recipes. I know I have said it a million times, but I do! They are so simple and easy and turn out delicious every stinkin’ time. I leave lots of comments about her yummy food after I try her recipes. In turn, people come over to my site to see who the crazy lady is behind the comments.

Multiples and More– sent me 58 visitors. This is an awesome site for moms of multiples. If you are a parent of multiples you should check them out and sign up! I am on their blogroll. So when I post something new over on my site, my newest post shows up in their blogroll which send readers my way.

Dinning with Debbie– sent me 33 visitors. Once a week she also offers a recipe/meal link up. Usually it is a crockpot recipe, but for the summer months any recipe goes! Check her out!

Life as a Mom– sent me 28 visitors. I seriously just found her blog. I have left a few comments about her awesome and helpful posts and in turn it has sent some visitors my way! Totally cool site- you’ve gotta check her out!

Mommy PR– sent me 22 visitors. When I gave a giveaway I list it on their site. In turn people visit my site and check out my reviews and sign up to enter my giveaway! You can do the same thing- email Angela!

The SITS Girls– sent me 21 visitors. This site is great for connecting with other blogging women. Monday-Thursday they feature a blogger. On Friday they do a pot-luck kind of thing where they share 3 specific bloggers posts. On Saturday they give blogging tips. On Sunday you can link up your giveaways.

Saving Those Dollars– she sent 16 visitors my way. She guest posted on my blog a few months ago. Her readers are still coming over! Stop by and check out her cool garden pics! She feeds her family of 4 on $25 a week!

Facebook sent me 84 visitors and Twitter sent me 34 visitors. I think it is interesting that my Facebook visitors are higher than Twitter as most bloggers experience the opposite. Personally, I feel like it is easier to get to know people via Facebook than Twitter… easier to foster a networking friendship.
