Stocking Stuffers for the Kiddos

Sharing is caring!

Would you freak out if I told you I just started my Christmas shopping (for SIX kids ages 1-16) about eight days before Christmas?

I am THE last minute shopper.

But I always nail it.

Things end with a bang and Christmas is amazing.

Every single year I promise myself I will not do this… but it is in my blood.

Over the weekend we received our first delivery, by Monday night I was halfway done shopping, yesterday I went to CVS and bought stocking stuffers, and at this point I have about five more things to get I am done with our shopping.

Right now, from December 17th-24th it is Stocking Stuffer Week at CVS! How perfect is it that they dedicate and entire week to solving a problem that parents everywhere need a solution for. (It doesn’t hurt that over 75% of the US population is living within 5 miles of a CVS. We live in a suburbia area that has about eight CVS locations within 5 miles of our house! Talk about convenient.)

Even if you did not wait until the last minute to do your Christmas shopping, like I did, I am willing to bet you could use some stocking stuffers this week. It pretty much is THE last item parents buy.

I spent a good 45 minutes just strolling the store. I loved the unique and unexpected stocking stuffer finds. The prices were on point too!

Luke has a new found love, that kind of came out of the blue, for PJ Masks this Christmas season. You better believe I grabbed this PJ Masks Catboy stuffed toy for his stocking.

And who remembers Ty Beanie Babies? I loved these in the 90’s and I adore they are still all over the place. Jack is toddling around now and I know he will just love this little reindeer. Its sparkly green eyes are just the sweetest.

Our four oldest kids (16-8) all have tech gadgets. There were a ton of tech items that were on point with pricing and perfect for stocking stuffers. Let me just say, with a family our size chargers and headphones are two things you can never have enough of. Someone is always losing or misplacing theirs and I cannot tell you how many nights we spend what feels like FORVER looking for all the chargers so everyone’s devices can charge over night. I got a different color for each kid. BRILLIANT!!

And these uniques Christmas cookies will be perfect for their stockings. I can’t decide which is my favorite- the penguin, Santa or reindeer. All three are just too cute and look like cookies from a speciality bakery! Loved finding them!

And, there were tons of beauty item stocking stuffers. I could not help but notice. If you have girls on your shopping list you will be impressed! I could not help but eye all of my favorite drug store polish and hair products!

This year we had our Christmas cards printed at CVS as well. It was super easy, I just uploaded our favorite Christmas family picture, personalized the front, typed a note on the back updating everyone on the latest Lopez blessings and hit submit. The cards were ready to pickup the same day! Seriously, perfect for busy moms… who procrastinate… and are most productive the last minute. CVS is a life saver!

And of course we were out of bow from last year and I needed gift tag labels. Love that these are pre sticky and in a roll that just feeds out the back. You cannot beat that for less than $3!

There really is something for everyone on your stocking stuffer shopping list. The munchy aisle got me…. I should never go in hungry!

Remember, using the ExtraCare Rewards program, makes all of your pharmacy needs easier during the busy holiday season. AND  you save money and earn rewards on every purchase. I also love that ExtraCare members receive exclusive benefits including earning 2% cash back in the form of Quarterly ExtraBucks, personalized savings offers, and app-only deals.

We seriously love being a CVS family!

  1. Personally, I think stocking stuffers are more fun and exciting than actual gifts!!! Because you have to get really creative with what to stuff them with!

  2. I love your choices in stocking stuffers!! TY Beanie Babies are my THING! Love them. I also believe snacks are a great way to fill the stocking! Ya know, for me, even when I get all of it DONE I still want to buy MORE so it’s usually for the best I wait till last minute lol

    1. They have a TON of Ty Beanie Babies… including these little critters I had never seen before. They are little characters that are shaped kind of like a Twinkies. Super cute.

  3. These are great gift ideas for stocking stuffers. The kids’ stockings are already pretty full. I filled them with wants (stickers, tattoos, small figurines) and needs (socks, toothbrush, toothpaste). CVS is a great place to get a lot of stocking stuffers at great values!

  4. Great choices! I can always find some great stocking stuffers at CVS! I need to make a run to see what they have so I can fill the kids stockings up with a few more items!

  5. My kids always have a blast with their stockings. I have pretty much finished Christmas shopping. We do have a local CVS. I will have to keep them in mind if I need anything else.

  6. My daughter always asked for things like Carmex and EOS. She is obsessed with lip stuff and at least it is not makeup just yet. She is in seventh grade so compared to how I was at that age, I like to give myself a pat on the back for that one. Really earning my supermom cape! lol

  7. Great ideas. Our stocking stuffers are usually items that the kids will be usig through out the year. New socks, new toothbrush, new hair ties, chapstick. I love your ideas too!> CVS is a great place to shop.

  8. I would be freaking out too haha but really now, these are such great ideas! If I say so myself, I usually find myself happier when I get smaller stuff but come in more quantities HAHA! Thanks again for this idea, it gives me some inspiration for gifts for my nephew.

  9. I imagine starting later is actually to your advantage because it seems like so many things are marked down the closer it gets to Christmas. Stocking stuffers are always my favorite things to by and I had no idea there were so many great deals at CVS. Beauty items are always great, as is anything candy or sweet like the cookies. I wish for your family a very Merry Christmas! x

  10. Ha! Ha! So funny! My son checks every day to make sure Santa hasn’t decided to give him anyhting in the stockings early. He believes the Elf will randomly do so before Christmas! This is a great list of ideas. I like the Carmex one too because come on … it’s kind of necessary during the holidays, right?
