Do You Have a Bucket List?

Sharing is caring!

I’ve never really had a bucket list, per se. Sure, from time to time I might say man, someday we’ve gotta do that. But I guess it is time to really write it all down.

My List

  • Travel to Paris. Is that cheesy? Eat Pray Love really inspired me.
  • Volunteer, at least once, at the local Ronald McDonald house.
  • Write a children’s book for toddlers.
  • Go on a cruise.
  • Go to Disney World.
  • Get in shape (working on that).
  • Create something significant in honor of my grandmother’s memory.
  • Take my children to visit the Crayola Factory.
  • Live in a loft in downtown (after my children are grown of course).
  • Frequent a beach front property on the East coast. We do not have to own it- I’ll take what I can get.
  • Visit Seattle again.
  • Be a Starbucks Barista for a day.
  • Go Hot Air Ballooning.
  • Swim with dolphins.
  • Build a snowman.
  • Visit New York.
  • Have a cupcake shop and name it Crystal’s Cupcakery.
  • Create an advocacy group for the parents of children struggling with  learning differences in the public school system.
  • Learn to be content.
  • Ride a horse without fear.
  • Buy a sports car.
  • Take my children to visit Puerto Rico.
  • Learn to sew.
  • Learn to play the piano- something other than chop sticks.
  • Work in a flower shop. Make arrangements. Deliver them. See people smile.
  • Go sky diving, although I am pretty sure I would chicken out. But it would be amazing to see what it feels like, for a moment, to free fall. And wet my pants.

What is on your list? Do you call it a Bucket List or something else? I would love to know.

  1. What a fabulous list! I especially love the barista one, I would so do that. I don't have a list exactly but there are a few things I'd like to do for my family but the thing I'd like to do just for myself is run a 5K. Last year I had to walk because I got sick but I want to actually run one.

What a great list. I need to do this. I only have one thing on my bucket list right now so I really need to add to it. I enjoy your blog a lot.

  3. DaenelT- I wish I had a love for running. I really do. To do a 5K run must feel amazing! You go!

Rachel- Thank you so much for reading! It means a lot. 🙂

  4. I need to make a bucket list myself. However, I already have one for the things I want to do for my house. Does that count?

  5. Wow! I LOVE your list! I love cupcakes, so I'd buy some from you! Also, I was very close to my grandmother, so that sounds like something I'd like to do as well. Good luck on the list. : )

  7. I've been thinking about creating at list my friend has a 40×40 list….mine would be a 50×50 but that would be a lot to accomplish in 3.5 yrs!! I need to really think about this.

  8. I'm totally geeking out about the Starbucks barista. I thought I was the only one who thought that would be an interesting job to try out. I think it would be a totally high pressure job, but so fun.

  9. Great list! You don't know how to sew?? I can't believe you have all those kids and can't sew. 🙂 LOL! I taught myself, it isn't that difficult. Start with something easy like curtains and pillow cases, then move up to pajama pants and shorts. My poor boys have like 500 pair of pj pants and pull on shorts because they are easy and I kept making them. LOL!

You're inspiring me to write out a bucket list of my own. I bet most of mine would be about travel, but the whole idea is to think out of the box, right?

Thank you for sharing yours. How fun. I think it would be fun to make one and cross them off. 🙂
