Elf on the Shelf Ideas: Leftover Pumpkin Pie
I went to bed last night with Elf on the Shelf ideas in my head, but things changed once I got up this morning.
My husband stayed up later than I did. Apparently he got into that pumpkin pie in the fridge. The one I bought at Trader Joes. He knew I was tired and he was worried I had forgotten about ol’ Elf on the Shelf.
He neatly positioned Jack, our new Elf, on the table where we keep our paper plates. (Yes, I stack paper plates on a cake platter…. I am fancy like that.) He left his messy pumpkin pie spoon behind for Jack. He knew the kids would get a kick out of it.
Boom, instant idea!
I had my Elf on the Shelf printables which are blank note cards that allow me to fill in the card to say whatever I want.
I wrote, “Helped myself to the leftover pumpkin pie in the fridge. Love Jack”. (You can print your own by clicking the image below.)
I got the pie out of the fridge and placed it next to Elf.
I also added the cutest Elf on the Shelf scarf and boots to him. I grabbed them at Target a few weeks ago for super cheap.
The boys loved this when they saw him this morning!
If you have some leftover pumpkin pie in the fridge, let your Elf on the Shelf enjoy some. Yum!
