First Hair Cut

Sharing is caring!

The time had arrived.
{Baby} Matthew’s preciously curled locks were getting frizzy.
His bangs had been draping in his eyes for about 2 months.
When it is your final baby, and you know it is your final baby, you wait.
You wait a while.
We arrived. The gal who cuts my hair was armed and ready.
Four of our five boys needed hair cuts and Lenny is so tired of me chopping on their hair.
At first, {baby}Matthew was cheerful…
Suddenly a pouty face appeared.
Similar to the one he had the day he was born and the delivery room operating room was cold enough to freeze meat.
(I am still a little bitter about that c-section. Can you tell?)
And then the tears. Oh, were there tears.
Maybe he did not think the leopard wrap was his color?
Save me Mommy!
You must.
This lady is spraying stuff on my head.
Help!
Rescue me!
That was not so bad.
Hey, short hair makes my lips look plumper.
Tuff guy indeed.
Cool guys wear leopard wraps.

But I am forever {baby} Matthew.
Or at least to my mommy!

    1. I am going to cry! He looks so grown up! Handsome, but too grown up. You have such beautiful kids. 🙂

    2. I love your sunglasses.

  2. Kim, I know. His hair cut makes him look like a little boy! It needed to be done, but it makes me super sad too!

My sunglasses are knock offs… of course. ha!
