Fun at the Pool
Although it is not officially summer until next week, the weather here in Texas would indicate otherwise.
Temperatures have been teasing us right under 100 degrees. It is toasty to say the least.
So, when family comes into town what do you do?
Take everyone to the city pool for $1 per person!
Off we went…

Here is my tuff little 14 month old, {baby} Matthew. Man, is he a tank or what? His skin did really well in the water and the direct sun (with sun screen of course). Last summer eczema covered his body so badly that time at the pool was off limits! Nice improvement.
And here is little Maddie. My cousin’s daughter. When she was 8 months old she broke in Matthew’s infant car seat right before he was born. My cousin and I gave it a test run on a trip to dinner. She pooped it in. Broke in in real well. No worries, {baby} Tuff Matthew, soon put her to shame! Nonetheless, she is such a sweet little girl.
Nicky…. my sweet Nicky. The child who used to cling to Mommy, but once Matthew was born he traded me in for Daddy. Unless I am going somewhere. Then he is my best friend and wants to go along. Especially trips to the bank where he begs for suckers. Sweet little boy- he loves the water!
Latin Lukey. Our little charming ladies man. Mr. Sauve at the pool. Checking out the girls…. talking to the girls…. swimming with the girls.
Miss Hannah. She is Maddie’s big sister. She is just three months younger than the twins and is taller than both of them! Totally a mother hen. Acts just like her mother at this age. I had a childhood flashback all weekend. Luke adores her. The other night at dinner he looked across the table and told Hannah, ‘You so boo-de-ful!’. And he meant it with all of his heart.
And soon it was time to leave the pool. The three big cousins hand in hand. (And yes, my boys had on Fruit of the Looms under their swim shorts.)
How awesome! We love the pool, looks like everybody had fun!

Debbi- we had such a great time. My kids love the pool.
Kim- I finally got the twins to wear their flip flops. Nicky kept telling me 'flip flops are not shoes…'. After two months I finally got him to wear them.
That is the most adorable pic of the 3 of them walking together!! Postcard perfect!
