Godiva Soft Serve and Trufflelata ($25 Giveaway)
When I think of fancy chocolate the very first name that comes to mind is Godiva. This then leads me to the word decadent.
Did you have any idea that Godiva now makes soft serve and an amazing drink called the Trufflelata? Let me elaborate.
You’ve seen their truffles, right? They come in every flavor. A couple of my favorite truffles are Crème Brulee Truffle and Hazelnut Crunch. They have tons of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate combinations. (You can buy them by the box or by the each at any of their Godiva stores.)

Let me tell you why this new shake and soft serve is something you want to add to your MUST TRY lists ASAP.
The shake (aka Trufflelata) …. oh man. Here is what they do. They take a truffle, ice and other ingredients and mix them together to make a shake that has a truffle in every sip!
Flavors options include:
- Chocolate Lava Cake Trufflelata
- Salted Caramel Trufflelata
- Strawberry Creme Trufflelata
- Hazelnut Crunch Trufflelata
- Milk Chocolate Trufflelata
- Oreo Trufflelata
They top it with whip cream and some syrup, if you choose and you have cold creamy sippable truffle that will make the perfect summer memory!
I tasted every single flavor. It is hard to just pick one favorite, and although I am not a dark chocolate fan, the Chocoalte Lava Cake Trufflelata was malty and perfection in my mouth!
Then, there is the soft serve. It has rich and creamy elements of traditional soft serve, but they include premium Belgian ingredients that create memorable moments in every single bite!
There are three flavors; Â Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate Vanilla Bean and Swirl, and can be enjoyed in a variety of premium Belgian waffle cones, each one dipped in either milk or dark chocolate, or in a traditional five ounce cup.
I opted for the swirl. Again, I am not a fan of dark chocolate…. or so I thought.
This was perfection for a hot summer day.

My most memorable summer fling was falling for this cute train robber at the open air museum I was a docent at. We had a great summer being together, but alas, we went to colleges 3 hours apart. We did keep in touch through email, but didn’t see each again. That is, until we reunited two years ago and got married. 🙂
We took our daughter one summer to The Smoky Mountains and went white water rafting. The water was so very cold but we had a great time.

My most memorable summer fling was a road trip with my now husband. We took off one evening with a change of clothes to find a softball bat for daughter, with the plans to stay overnight about 2 hours away. We ended up driving 4 1/2 hours away and staying 4 days, and still didn’t find the bat we went looking for. That was the best trip we’ve ever had and not one ounce of planning went into it. We had to buy clothes and find a place to stay when we got there, but we had such a great time!

Hmm, as a child I finally convinced my Dad to stop at one of those roadside attractions on vacation in the Smoky Mountains. It was horse rides. Well, a big truck went by, I was thrown by my horse & wound up hitting my head on a rock…covered in horse poo, lolol! Flings don’t work out well, sometimes!
